ANNUAL LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE DELIGHTS IN DOWNTOWN BRENHAM

  

The streets of downtown Brenham were lined with crowds Saturday night, for the 15th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade.

A total of 53 entries wound their way through downtown, in a variety of decorated floats.  Santa Claus also made an appearance, waving to the crowds on a Brenham Fire truck.

This year’s parade winners, announced by the City of Brenham, are as follows:

  • BEST OVERALL: First Baptist Church School
  • BEST PARADE THEME: St. Paul’s Christian Day School
  • MOST ORIGINAL: Cub Scout Pack 742
  • BEST LIGHTS: Vineyard Church of Brenham
  • BEST SPIRIT OF THE SEASON: St. John’s Prairie Hill
  • HONORABLE MENTIONS: Boys & Girls Club of Washington County, Christ Lutheran Day School, Grace Community Fellowship, and the Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue!

KWHI aired the parade live Saturday evening, and also participated in the parade.
